Title Text.
Four
I take the hair out of the package.
Five
I take the braid out and think of what lengths I will need.
Six
I get my rubber band at the ready.
Seven
After I decide what length I want, I take a rubber band and tie the hair tightly around 1 inch below where I'm about to cut.
Eight
I cut an inch above where the rubber band is.
Nine
Here's what I cut off.
Ten
I take my sectioned off hair, and I loop it around my shoe lace.
Eleven
I then take another rubber band, and tie it tightly around the top of the hair to tack it down firmly, so too much hair doesnt come out.
Twelve
I'm ready to start back combing: Smooth down the hair with your hands, and take a comb (medium sized) and go right to the bottom of the hair and back comb up.
Thirteen
I Smooth it out with my hands, and seperate it untill its pretty well smooth again.
Fourteen
I'll want to backcomb the top again, then the back, and both sides the same way.
Fifteen
I cut the rubber band, carefully as to not snip any hair.
Sixteen
I take my comb and start to back comb in short little bursts right at the top where the elastic was, to tack it, I back comb untill theres a small bulge. I back comb in short bursts on all sides at the top.
Seventeen
I backcomb all the sides again, though not seperating it as much, but smoothing down after every side that I backcomb.
Eighteen
Of course, some hair will come out from the bottom. But if you tack it down well enough, not too much hair should come out.
Nineteen
I then start from the top, on the back, and start to backcomb in short bursts letting the hair start to fluff up, I don't do too much of this or else I get super large, super hard knots. I backcomb in short bursts down to the middle of the hair.
Twenty
I then do the same with the top of the hair, then the sides, of course smoothing it down often. It should now look tapered.
Twenty One
For half way down the hair to the ends, I then use a smaller toothed comb, as there is less hair there, and using a bigger comb wouldnt work as well.
Twenty Two
Back comb all sides, smoothing out after doing every side.
